About the event
Increasing the quantity and quality of pet-inclusive housing is vital to ensuring people and pets stay together, since pet owners cite housing-related issues as one of the main reasons for surrendering pet dogs and cats to shelters and rescues. Using analysis from the Pet-Inclusive Housing Report and other recent research findings, this session will describe the differences between pet-friendly and pet-inclusive housing and the massive gap between pet-inclusive housing availability and need.
